Born and raised in the colorful town of Okere in Warri South, Delta State, Blessing is a proud member of the Itsekiri tribe, a culture that celebrates music and art. From a young age, Blessing was hooked on hip-hop, jamming to the tunes of Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Drake. She dreamed of becoming a rapper herself, and started her musical journey in Benin, where she explored the exciting worlds of music and cinema.
After getting her degree in Computer Science (yes, sis, she’s got brains and beauty), Blessing launched her own music blog, a platform that showcased the hottest talents in Delta and Benin. She also learned the ropes of the music industry, from promotion to production.
Blessing’s big break came when she joined Rage Records and Luxus Records, two of the leading labels in Nigeria. She impressed everyone with her promotion skills, helping artists reach new audiences and gain recognition. In 2021, she was selected as one of the top 50 students of the Music Business Academy for Africa, a prestigious program that gave her access to the best mentors and resources in the music biz.
In 2022, Blessing took on a new challenge: artist management. She became the manager of Boy Adequate, a talented rapper who caught her eye. She guided him through several projects that made waves in the music scene. By 2023, she landed a coveted role as the “Head of Content Review” for Sub-Saharan Africa at Pitchclerk, a global platform that connects artists and labels. She also collaborated with the amazing artist Treggz, adding another hit to her portfolio.
