Xtraview is a start-up by 2 women– Katherine Ernst Mehta-  an educationist and Kavitta B Bedi- a leading entrepreneur in children’s space.

This platform enables students to give a face and voice to the paper-based application ensuring that the student applying can showcase their communication and verbal skills. It also showcases a students’ analytical and critical thinking as the questions are answered in extempore settings. The dedicated team at Xtraview records unbiased interviews and shares these with institutions in an unedited version.

Other than students, this platform is also beneficial for Institutions and Organizations. It promotes equity in admissions as the unscripted recorded interviews gives an opportunity to truly assess the skills that matter. At Xtraview – questions are different in each interview and live writing samples give a true picture of the candidate’s writing skills.

Organizations, too, can save a lot of time as recorded interviews are an incredibly efficient way to evaluate applicants. The recorded interview is a 10-minute conversation giving in-depth information about the applicant.

Xtraview also offers Interview & Elevator Pitch training workshops for high school students, as well as those preparing to enter the workforce, to help them stand out amongst applicants, and ace their digital interviews and interactions.

One of the biggest initiatives taken by Xtraview is partnering with The Big Red Group to provide  2 deserving students, from amongst the 100 leading schools all across India, the opportunity to win a full scholarship to take part in the 2021 Harvard Youth Lead the Change (YLC) conference. Youth Lead the Change is a 7 day leadership program created by the professors of Harvard Business School, Harvard Law School and the Harvard School of Education. The program aims at empowering students and unlocking their leadership capabilities as they develop tangible solutions to global problems. Following the program, students continue to receive one on one mentorship from Harvard trainers for 12 months.

Kavitta B Bedi, Founder & CEO, Xtraview says, “Our country is at the cusp of a revolution that embodies technology and education. The past one year has thrown several challenges that have given us opportunities to break the mold and create a benchmark. At Xtraview we strive to empower deserving students to showcase their talent and nurture their skillset. Partnering with The Big Red Group for The Harvard Youth Lead The Change initiative has further augmented our goals and helped us strengthen our vision.”
